Circor Aerospace receives CH-47 Chinook landing gear contract from Boeing
CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. (NYSE: CIR) announced today it has received a multi-year contract from The Boeing Company to supply landing gear for the CH-47F Chinook advanced multimission helicopter.
In addition to this new agreement, CIRCOR Aerospace also supplies new and overhauled landing gear for the CH-47F and G models under other existing contracts with Boeing. CIRCOR also provides numerous fluid controls and landing gear systems to Boeing for the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike fighter.
Under the LOUD Engineering brand, CIRCOR has supplied Boeing with new and overhauled landing gear, as well as spare parts for the CH-47 Chinook Helicopter for more than 20 years. In addition, CIRCOR Aerospace also provides numerous fluid controls for the Boeing Commercial Aircraft family, including the 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777.
CIRCOR Aerospace has manufacturing and design centers in North America, Europe and Asia, producing aerospace products under the Circle Seal, LOUD, Motor Technology, Aerodyne and Industria brand names.
CIRCOR International is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts and the CIRCOR Aerospace Products group is headquartered in Corona, California. Landing gear under this agreement will be manufactured by more than 300 employees of the recently upgraded Landing Gear Systems production facility in Corona, California.
