Eurosatory: BAE Systems advances APKWS (video)

BAE Systems is using the Eurosatory exhibition to highlight its Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS), which it has now sold to Jordan under a Foreign Military Sales agreement.

David Harrold, director of precision guidance solutions at BAE Systems, told Shephard the weapon was now qualified on a variety of platforms, including Marine Corps AH-1 attack helicopters and it has also been successfully demonstrated on a variety of fixed wing platforms.

‘We recently built our 3000th APKWS at our facility in Nashua, New Hampshire, and it is a very mature, very effective weapon system. It is now on three platforms
