When the former Raytheon Company merged with United Technologies Corp in 2020, it further increased the company's engagement within the UAE.
Raytheon Technologies is evolving from being providers of defence and security systems into contributors to the 'Made in the UAE' economy.
'We want to bring Raytheon Technologies' capabilities here, we want to develop Emirati knowledge base leaders, and, more importantly, we want to be able to be a catalyst for them to design develop their own systems and solutions,' says Alan Davis, chief executive of Raytheon Emirates.
