US Army focuses on 'direct action' operations (video)
During late July and early August 2014, the US Army 3BCT/101ABN (Air Assault), ‘The Rakkasans’, conducted a training rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Ft Polk, Louisiana.
What made the rotation unique was an increased focus on ‘direct action’ operations and a lesser focus on counterinsurgency operations that have typified the last decade.
One of the network systems employed during the rotation was Nett Warrior.
Captain Steven Kurvack, ‘Crusher’ Company Commander, 1st Battalion 187th Infantry ‘Rakkasans’ (3BCT/101ABN) spoke to Shephard Media about his unit’s use of the system.
