Eurosatory 2012: Patria floats new Nemo concept
Patria is using Eurosatory to gauge interest in a new concept turret for its AMV armoured fighting vehicle that it has dubbed the Nemo Plus.
The new version of the turret integrates the Nemo 120mm mortar system with Kongsberg's new Protector Super Lite remote weapon station (RWS). The Super Lite is a fully stabilised light weight RWS that weighs only 30kg. It can be equipped with a 5.56mm or 7.62mm machine gun, with either 900 or 600 rounds respectively.
