Spanish Army releases requirements for SF vehicle
Spain continues its efforts to improve the mobility of its SF and has released operational, technical and logistics requirements for its Light Vehicle for Special Operations (VLOE) programme.
The notice issued by the Head Office of Economic Affairs in Logistics Support Command was published in May, and earmarked around €4 million ($4,400 million) of investment to procure this platform.
These new vehicles will replace variants of the in-service Nissan ML-6 and will be a complementary platform to the Medium Vehicle for Special Operations (VMOE). The VMOE (pictured) is based on the UROVESA VAMTAC 4x4 model.
