IAI highlights maritime security solution (video)
Elta Systems, part of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), used the Euronaval exhibition to highlight an integrated maritime security solution for oil rigs, ports and other littoral infrastructure.
The company display two elements of the solution, the ELI-3320 Port-Guard and the ELI-550 EZ Guard.
Elta Systems business development and marketing manager Boaz Nathan said both systems took information from a variety of sensors and fused it together to provide a common operating picture of the maritime theatre.
Once a threat has been identified, an alert is generated and sent to security units to determine the best response.
