USSOCOM advances cockpit efforts

USSOCOM is moving forward on its efforts to identify the next generation Special Operations Aviation (SOA) cockpit. 

The multi-phased effort was originally outlined in a special notice released by USSOCOM’s Program Executive Office for Rotary-Wing (PEO-RW) in mid-June.

The original announcement outlined a multi-phase plan, beginning in mid-July with a Capability Collaboration Event (CCE) co-hosted by PEO-RW and SOFWERX. That Phase I event was designed to begin a process to identify the next generation SOA cockpit hardware and software for SOF variant legacy and Future Vertical Lift platforms.
