AFSPECWAR training and support attracts two more companies
US firms Quantico Tactical and Rapid Response Defense Systems are to provide equipment, training and product support to approximately 3,500 Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) operators, as well as authorised users in support of AFSPECWAR mission requirements.
The two companies were collectively awarded a $950 million, ten-year contract by the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center on 31 August, after a competitive tender that attracted 17 bids.
A similar contract was awarded to five US companies in June this year.
