4GD delivers to US SOF
UK-based immersive dismounted close combat training specialists 4GD recently delivered another major project to the SOF community in the US.
This US system is a containerised deployable system that was previously also used to train para-rescue jumpers.
Part of the SmartFacility family from 4GD, the system includes video feedback to create realistic CQB scenarios to train units up to platoon strength.
SmartFacility comprises four levels of fidelity that feature the company’s SimWall reconfigurable building walls; 4GAV special effects and video feedback; smart targetry; and finally at Level 4, blended simulation through the use of VR.
