4GD enhances SmartFacility training
UK-based urban combat training specialist 4GD has launched two new capabilities to strengthen its SmartFacility training environment.
The two new products are ECFECTUS, a dismounted close combat data collection and analysis system; and ACIES, which is an integrated-reality single synthetic training environment.
The current SmartFacility offering comprises the SimWall reconfigurable building complex to provide what the company refers to as 'Level One' training, with a video tracking function added to provide SmartFacility Level Two training. Together, these elements comprise an entry-level capability.
Level Two systems are already used by US SOCOM and 16 Air Assault Brigade in the UK.
