New UAS SIGINT Training & Simulation System Unveiled in the UK by Abacus EW and Simlat
Simlat Ltd. and Abacus EW Consultancy Ltd. announce collaboration on providing a comprehensive training solution for the rapidly growing UAV SIGINT operator market.
Abacus's training center, with its team of EW specialists and state-of-the-art facilities, will utilize Simlat's STS-Pro Stand-Alone Training System, as an integral part of its SIGINT training program.
Simlat's system, complete with a newly released COMINT feature, was demonstrated at the EW Open Day held at Abacus EW Consultancy on May 12, 2009.
“This high-fidelity special sensor simulation is part of Simlat’s comprehensive fused sensors simulation package. Available synthetic sensors include EO/IR/NVG/SAR/ELINT/COMINT. Other custom-made and more exotic sensors are in the pipeline”, says Uri Barzily, Chief System Engineer.

Simlat's UAV SIGINT simulation module will be demonstrated at the upcoming Shephard EW Conference in London (May 14-15) in the Abacus EW Consultancy booth as well is at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America 2009.
