Five firms win AFSPECWAR support work
Five US companies have received a contract totalling USD950 million to provide equipment, training and product support to approximately 3,500 Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) operators, as well as authorised users in support of special warfare mission requirements, the DoD announced on 19 June.
The ten-year contract from the USAF Life Cycle Management Center followed a competitive tender.
Work is expected to be completed by June 2030. It will be conducted by Federal Resources; W.S. Darley & Co; US21 Inc; Atlantic Diving Supply Inc; and Tactical & Survival Specialties Inc.
